At Transpiring we have the passion and drive to help inspire our young people to reach their goals and potential to support them into the transition of young adults.

Transpiring Limited living provides high quality semi-independent accommodation and support services for local authorities looked after children and care leavers aged 16 to 18.

Our home consists of six spacious and bright bedrooms for mixed genders. We have a very large communal area which is integrated into the kitchen area. There is a dining area which accommodates all young people.

We have fitted internal and external CCTV as well as a fire alarm system to ensure safety to all staff and young people.

There is a fully equipped staff office, with 24/7 support staff on site to support all our young people.

We also have a well-maintained garden area where young people can relax during summer and sheltered during winter.

The aim of the placement is to provide a secure, stable, and nurturing environment for young people transitioning into adulthood.  Transpiring’s mission is to support young people to identify and recognise their skills to achieve their full potential. As part of the package, young people are given skills required to live independently as well as being emotionally ready. Young people’s wishes and feelings will be our primary focus with the intention of keeping them safe and on the right path.

• Transpiring encourage and promote self-respect, self-worth and for them to develop their own identity.

• Transpiring encourages young people to be involved in the delivery and development of the home.

Our focus is on delivering personalised care to each of our young people, with a team of experienced staff providing 24/7 support and guidance. We also provide criminal and sexual exploitation risk assessments and pathway plans to ensure the safety of our young people.
